This was one of my best trips ever and a place to remember. I would love to share my experience with the magic of the place and the memories that it allowed us to make. I was with the person I love most in the world and at the most romantic place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Those were the best days along with the best experience. I must suggest every couple to visit this place, to be able to have this spoiled and pampered encounter at the Oberoi Udaivilas. I was living in the world of my dreams for four whole days.
A beautiful way to the hotel with a lovely welcome.
This is a quiet, peaceful and luxurious place to be with your loved ones. As you cross Lake Pichola by boat, all those beautiful thoughts come to your mind, the ones of nature. You are also able to see the Oberoi Udaivilas during this boat ride, the hotel is magnificent with its majestic domes bathed in sunlight.
The rose-tinted welcome is mind-blowing. In the welcome, they served us with rose flavored iced-tea, and they even gifted us with a traditional bandhani dupatta and Rajavadi hat. I was amazed by their welcome.
Feels like Heaven
They upgraded the room we had booked and gave us one with our own private pool with a beautiful view from where I could see peacocks on the tree and the exquisite lake. The rooms were cleaned very well and the sizes of the rooms were grand. The bathrooms were spacious and, of course, the wardrobes were of perfect sizes. The combination overall was just right.
Dine in Style
The hotel restaurant, Chandni, lets you feast under the stars with a traditional thali and many other cuisines. At breakfast, they especially made Jain food, and they made sure all the items we asked for were. The food and service were splendid, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Dal Bati, Chole, Rose Rabdi, and many other items had left an amazing taste in my mouth.
High tea in the boat
Each staff member was very polite and had great respect for all the guests, they did their job very well. High tea was the highlight of our stay because it included time at the lake for almost an hour with a beautiful sunset and while we were sailing, the butler talked about the history of this city of Udaipur. High tea in the boat at sunset was the most romantic thing we could have imagined. I loved watching the sunset, with my world, Miten. One of the best evenings of my life.
Spa Paradise
The Oberoi spa was definitely one of the things you have to do while visiting the place, it gave us the most soothing and relaxed feeling after a year full of chaotic events. We took a couples spa for over 90 minutes with a strong massage and rose petal milk bath for another 30 minutes. This is a treatment that will be hard to forget. One of the best feelings at the best place I’ve been to.
Dinner at the Lakeside Pavilion
I was thrilled and amazed at this beautiful dinner spot. This has been our most romantic dinner to date including a cake cutting to celebrate our anniversary. The feeling of this gala dinner in the middle of the lake was spectacular, beyond words, with live instrumental soft music including beautiful decorations and candles to illuminate the night even further. We couldn’t have spent our anniversary in any better way.
At the top of everything was – The Photoshoot
I love taking photos and to capture the beautiful moments that we create in life. We booked a photographer to make sure we relive the experiences while we show these photos to our children, family, and friends. I am going to share you a glimpse of the photos we took below.
It was a really heartfelt stay at Udaivilas. I enjoyed each and every moment that I spent there, but of course, I missed my kids, however, every couple should explore the beauty of the place. I was pampered throughout my stay, was given amazing services and the luxurious feeling. This was the most memorable little vacation for both Miten and me.
